What the two-hour slot actually means

Two hours is the window. The visit inside it is about five minutes.
A two-hour window is how doorstep collection works everywhere, and it is worth knowing what it means for your afternoon.
The window, and the visit
The slot is two hours because a rider is covering several addresses and traffic is traffic. The visit is about five minutes: check the device against your answers, reset it in front of you, send the payment, leave.
So you need to be reachable for the window, not waiting by the door for two hours.
Choosing it
You pick the day and the window when you book, after the price. Any day of the week. Booking needs your phone number and a one-time code, nothing more — there is no password to remember.
Being ready for it
Five minutes only works if the device is ready. The evening before:
- Back up, and check the backup opened.
- Sign out of every account on the device — the list per device.
- Take out the SIM and memory card.
- Put the bill, box and charger beside it if you have them.
- Do not factory reset it. That happens at the door, in front of you.
If the slot stops working
It can be moved, and it costs nothing. So does cancelling altogether, at any point up to agreeing at the door. What happens if you are not home.
What the slot does not change
The price. The number you accepted online is the number you are paid, whichever day the rider comes — the quote is not a today-only offer that expires at the end of the window.

Questions people ask
- How long does a pickup take?
- About five minutes for a device that matches its description. The two-hour slot is the window the rider arrives in, not the length of the visit.
- Can I choose the day?
- Yes — any day of the week, in a two-hour window you pick when you book.
- What if I miss the slot?
- It can be moved, at no cost. Telling us before the rider is on the way is the courteous version.
